Philippine Nurses Association of Northeast Florida (PNANEF)

The Philippine Nurses Association of Northeast Florida belongs to the 50 national chapters of PNA America and is one of the South Central Region chapters.  It is the first Filipino professional nursing organization in Northeast Florida. We received several service awards throughout the years including the Mayor's Asian American Advisory Board (MAAAB), Cambodian Service Volunteer Award,  and the Fil-AM Council Award for Community Service.  In March, 2018, PNANEF received the very first council resolution award from the City of Jacksonville, Office of Council President Anna Brosche.

With the support and donation from our families, sponsors and the community, PNANEF was able to fund one house in the PNAA Gawad Kalinga Village in Piel, Bulacan in 2012. We supported the Eye Care We Care Foundation that provides free eye examinations, free eyeglasses/medications and facilitates free eye surgery, most  especially during the San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte Medical Mission in 2014.  PNANEF contributes annually to the national coffer of PNAA /PNA Foundation to provide funds for "Balik turo " and various medical missions; as well as relief efforts to severely affected areas during natural disasters in the Philippines.

PNANEF provides continuous community service since 2004
